How Do I Buy?

With eBug buying is easy: just follow these simple instructions:

  1. Start by registering your account. It´s free and it will allow you to use eBug whenever you please. It also gives you maximum security and control over your account.
  2. Gather as much information as possible about the item you would like us to buy for you: makes, models, serial numbers, colours, age etc… will all help us locate exactly the item you are looking for.
  3. Try to supply us with a picture of the item you want; a picture from a brochure or a magazine will do just as well as one you took yourself. Scan the photograph into your computer and store it as a file.
  4. Go to the eBug home page and click on the Buy It button.
  5. Fill in the information form, including ALL the information you have gathered concerning the item you want us to buy. (If we need any further information we will notify you).
  6. Attach the picture file (see: Sending a picture) in the correct box at the bottom of the form. (Alternatively you can post a picture to the address given on the home page.
  7. Click on the Submit button and you´re finished!

Now sit back and let eBug do the rest…
On the information form you will be asked to state the maximum amount that you are prepared to pay for the item you have requested (including postage and eBug fees). We will always confirm the receipt of a new request with an email. In this email we will supply you with a Bank Account Number and a Swedish Post Giro Number. You must now deposit the amount you have stated in section maximum amount you are prepared to pay for the item you have requested.

As soon as the funds have entered our account we begin our search! When we have found one or several items matching your description we will choose the one that is the closest; if we have any doubt or feel we require your prior conformation we will email you with a description of the item and attach a picture for you to look at. When you tell us it is OK we will begin the bidding; otherwise we will continue our search. If we are sure we have located the article you are looking for we will go ahead and make the purchase for you. When we search to locate your requested item, there may be only minutes left before the auction on a particular item ends, so timing is essential!

When we have successfully located and purchased your article you will be notified. The money that is left over from the purchase will continue to stand on your account until you ask to withdraw it; you may also leave the money on your account and use towards making a further purchase. In the meantime, we are busy dealing with the seller in order to bring your item to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. You do not have to contact us when you receive your article but we are always happy to hear from our happy and satisfied customers!
